The project redevelops approximately 10 acres of existing zoo exhibits and service areas on the south side of the zoo. The new exhibit will house Asian elephants, Indian rhinos, Malayan tapirs, clouded leopards, white checked gibbons and several other Asian species. The entire 10-acre project site and structures are expected to achieve LEED Gold, with the potential to achieve Platinum.

This 138,000-sq-ft building will house one large brigade, one medium battalion and five large battalions, plus providing space for administrative and command operations on Wilderness Road. LEED-Silver certification is the goal.

This two-phase, 40,600-sq-ft project consists of a two-story addition to the Challenger Point Building, plus renovation of existing space within the building on the FRCC Larimer Campus. The addition includes science classrooms and support facilities, and the renovated space provides offices and classrooms. LEED-Gold certification is being targeted.
