Moab’s Helen M. Knight Elementary School is a two-story, 120,000-sq-ft building with 35 classrooms.

Designed by MHTN Architects Inc. of Salt Lake City and being built by Hogan and Associates of Centerville, the two-story building is 120,000 sq ft of new construction with 35 classrooms.
James T. Dresslar Architect LLC of Moab is assisting MHTN on the project.
The school district and project team are focusing on sustainable principles to achieve energy-efficiency goals. Tubular skylights and energy-sensor lighting will be installed in classrooms to coordinate artificial lights and natural daylighting.
The $22-million project will complete in September 2010.
